Digital Cars: And all The Cool Accessories

Sometimes while I am in thought, I can’t help to think about what Mr. Ford “if he were alive today” how he would take in all this. I would imagine his head would surely spin…

Even though Ford was ahead of his time then, the automaker probably never would have imagined all the advances that have been made. Not to mention his vary company which exists today and still carries his name, and now just recently signed a deal with Microsoft. For hands-free Bluetooth technology in-vehicle operating systems. And you can bet a few years from now, you might be hard pressed to find a vehicle without a diverse array of telematics features.

However, as far as digital entertainment is concerned… With out a doubt, There will always be enhancements. But what has really been taking off… Is the huge market for in-car technologies, which provide information instead of amusement.

For example, remember those old fashioned radar detectors? Sometimes they actually worked, other times you through them out the window… and if your like me you probably received a ticket from it. Well, K40 Electronics has basically eliminated tickets forever-- for – ev- verrrr “sorry” a little Sandlot flash back. Ayway, they have a high-tech radar detector with laser diffusers that---well you probably already guessed…Blutooth Technology. And you can connect various modules in their radar and laser defense system. “ pretty cool huh”

Have you ever heard of a doctor in your glove box?

CarMD displayed it’s handheld tester at CES last week. Any driver can use this tester, to monitor and maintain the health of their vehicle…”as long as it’s a 1996 or newer model”

I’ll get into how it exactly works, maybe in another article. But for now I’ll let you go, and I’ll pick up where I left off. I tell you I cant get enough of this techno world we live in…” Its one of my passions” maybe even yours too. It’s sooo coool.
